Peace Day at the Labyrinth

Saint George Episcopal Church
24219 Witte Road S.E.
Maple Valley, WA 98038

Cole and I were once again invited to paint next to the beautiful labyrinth on September 21st for Peace Day. As people come to walk the labyrinth in quiet contemplation or in fellowship with others, we will be there capturing the joy and beauty of the event. All are encouraged to join. We will have hands-on activities for the kids since it was such a hit last time!

Please invite others. Build a community of peace in your own part of the world!

Cash Mob at Happy Delusions

Sadly, our friend Mary Clymer is closing her store in Renton. Happy Delusions had been a bright spot in Renton as many businesses struggle to stay above water. Mary has given many artists and crafters a place to showcase and sell their work for the last 5 years. August and September will be the last chances to visit and support this great shop. A cash mob is planned on September 25th to show our love and appreciation for Mary. Don't miss it!!!

ART CAMP 2012: SO much fun!!!

Our campers were all girls this year! We made tools, got brave and used them to make art supplies, and then got down to creating a whole bunch of fantastic and functional things!!! Hope you enjoy the pics and can see yourself joining us sometime. YES we mean adults too! Watch for one day classes. Some of them will be sure to fit your interests!

A new Friend and a new Adventure

Darcie here. Cole and I have partnered with Happy Delusions in Renton. Mary, the owner of Happy Delusions is a neighborhood celebrity who radiates creativity and excitement. She has put together a very eclectic group of artists to make the best place in town to find the perfect one of a kind gift or a goodie for yourself. Check out her blog. Better yet, go in and say hi. You WILL love it there if you love the creative energy found around a group of out-of-the-box thinking artists.
Happy Shopping!
